VACATION SPOTLIGHT


Situated at the foothills of the Alps and Dinarids, Kvarner is one of the Mediterranean?s most beautiful gulfs. Because it is in Croatia's north, it is the closest warm-water dive destination to western and Eastern Europe. Because of this - and because you can dive all year, this is one of the Adriatic Sea's most-visited parts.

Underwater, Kvarner is known for amazing wall dives and beautiful gorgonian coral reefs. Craggy coastlines and relatively shallow water with mud bottoms can cause poor visibility, but the many different plants and animal species make this underwater garden an extremely rich one.
